Seminar - Software Architecture and Development Processes of the Migros App

Doğukan Türksoy, a software engineer at Migros, will meet our students on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at 13:30 in Amfi 1. The seminar looks at the stages an idea goes through in the Migros app before it reaches the user.

Türksoy will talk about the technologies, tools and software concepts that an IT team of around 200 people relies on to keep this infrastructure running. How artificial intelligence is changing software development at large companies is also on the agenda.

The talk is built on real examples and given from a backend developer's perspective. It will be followed by a short demo and a Q&A session.

A Computer Engineering graduate of Boğaziçi University, Türksoy has worked as a software engineer for five years and has been with the Product, Stock and Campaign Management team at Migros for about two years.

All students are welcome.
